How long does Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On protect my cat or dog?

Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On for Cats kills:

  • Fleas for up to five weeks
  • Ticks at the time of treatment

Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On for Dogs kills:

  • Fleas for up to five weeks
  • Ticks for up to four weeks
     

To give your cat or dog continuous flea and tick protection, apply Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On once every four weeks. 

What is the active ingredient in Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On?

Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On contains Fipronil. This is an insecticide, and kills adult fleas and ticks. Fipronil works by killing parasites through contact, not via the bloodstream. This means a harmful flea or tick does not have to bite your pet in order to be killed, thereby reducing the chance of disease transmission from fleas or ticks.

Which pack of Beaphar FIPROtec Spot-On® is best for my dog?
Before you buy Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On, you'll need to know the weight and age of your dog so you can select the correct flea treatment. Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On is suitable dogs and puppies from 8 weeks of age and is available in for:

  • Small Dogs(2-10kg)
  • Medium Dogs (10-20kg)
  • Large Dogs (20-40kg)
  • Extra Large Dogs (40-60kg)

This product cannot be used on dogs or puppies younger than 8 weeks or weighing less than 2kg. Do not use on cats.
